What is the Children’s Benefit Fund?
Christopher Johnson died in the care of The Denver Hospice when he was two years old. The Johnsons struggled financially during Christopher’s illness and were offered no resources to help. They hoped that by creating this fund they could ease the financial stress on other families coping with terminal illness.
How does the Children’s Benefit Fund help families served by The Denver Hospice?
Family Assistance Grants from the Children’s Benefit Fund can help to alleviate some financial burdens, enabling hospice patients and families to attend to what is most important – spending as much quality time as they can with the people they love.
